Fariba Davody began singing at the age of 7. As a child, she competed in local talent shows by
impressing audiences with her natural singing abilities.
She has taught music and singing from Hengameh Akhavan, Fakhri Maleki, Fereydoun Moshiri,
Mohsen Keramati, Jansouz Dadbeh, Ahmad Ebrahimi, Mozafar Shafieiand Mr.Mohammadreza
Shajarian. She learned music theory from Hossein Alizadeh and Mohammadreza Lotfi.
She achieved BS’ degree in Economics and Banking but continued her education as a musician
and vocalist by taking relevant courses in Iran.
Fariba first captured the public’s eyes as a vocalist of group musicians and singers in Iran. She
performed classic Persian songs at that time and donated her fees from the events to help victims of
cancer and diabetes.
She later established a solo career, becoming one of the music’s artists.
Fariba’s performance earned her the attention of producers who hired her to establish her vocalist
Fariba Davody established “Avaye Mehr” music and art school in Iran.
She immigrated to Canada with her family in 2010 and performed a live concert in the
multicultural ceremony held in Water-Front in Halifax as Avaye Mehr’ representative.
She performed live concerts and singing workshops in Toronto and Halifax and Montreal and
establish “Avaye Mehr” in Canada in 2010. Also, she had several concerts with Dastan Group in
Halifax and Constantinople in Montreal, Shiraz Group in Toronto. In Addition, she sang in some
festivals such as prismatic and Multicultural festivals.
Fariba Davody is running “Avaye Mehr” music and art school both in Iran and Canada. Also, she
is teaching and singing to the children from the age 3 and up.
