Music plays an important role in every stage of a child’s growth and skills development and school readiness. Skills such as social and emotional development, intellectual and language development, and overall literacy. Introducing the children to music during the early childhood development years helps the child with learning of the sounds and meanings of the words.
Music For Flowers : 3 & 4 Year Olds
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. Three & four year-old children will be exposed to a palette of carefully selected children’s songs and creative movement that allows for both individual and group participation. Song and speech games are designed to develop each child’s internal sense of beat while creating a playful atmosphere full of whimsy and joy. Instruments and focused listening activities provide an added element of inspiration and musical exploration to engage your preschooler.
ORFF ENSEMBLE: 5 & 6 YEAR OLDS
